The counselling team at the Brownlee provides help to people who are infected or affected by HIV, Hepatitis B or Hepatitis C.  We offer a range of psychological interventions that aim to maintain positive emotional health and wellbeing.

The counsellors offer a confidential, safe and non-judgemental space where clients can talk through their issues and concerns.  Clients can refer themselves or ask any healthcare professional to refer them.

Some of the services the counselling team provide are

  • One-One counselling: face to face or telephone
  • Group counselling
  • Patient support groups
  • Person centred counselling
  • Integrative therapies
  • Addiction therapies
  • Urgent psychological support and advice
